This doll is a possible prototype because it came from the Annalee Museum. I have never seen another clown dressed like this with the small polks dots and red hands and feet.

Open eyes, open mouth with tongue as shown, white hair, red nose, red with white polka dot outfit and matching conical hat, blue hands and feet. There is a glue repair at the tip of the hat where there was a 1/2" tear. There is still a small hole but not really noticeable. Doll with be bent in sitting position to save on shipping. This came from the Annalee Museum but can't find a signature or museum numbered tag. It might be because it was hanging up high? Fading on the front and hat. 4 moth holes the size of pencil eraser on the left foot. The wooden stand for this doll is item - 48stand. Sold as is.

This was professionally redressed by Debbie in the Annalee Doll Hospital in 1999. The hands and body are mint. The head a would grade as excellent since the glue has discolored where the hair was attached and about 20 brown spots on the back of the head. They do not show when displayed. Moth damage around the nose. A bigger nose would probably cover the moth nibbles. White gloves are nice and white, body is in great shape (near mint). Annalee Doll Description: Last one. Facial expression as shown. Blue stripe ticking outfit with conical hat, white hands and feet. Left foot has slight staining on the top and on the bottom of the foot from getting wet at one time. The top has two small light stains about the size of a quarter and nickel with a larger spot at the toe area which is on both sides, the bottom has about a 3" x 4" light brown stain. Can easliy be unsteamed and cleaned. For anyone that can sew, it would be very easy to replace the two feet. The white is still really white and the coloring in the outfit is mint. If not for the stain, this doll would be mint. The wooden stand for this doll is item - 48stand.

Back of head has two glue spots and I repaired two moth holes on the left side of his head near the seam on the side. Still displays nicely!
