Annalee Doll Description: Annalee Thorndike completed "A World of Love" in the Fall of 2001 after retiring from the doll company she founded. Designed as a thank you gift to her loyal collectors, it was scheduled to be unveiled at the Annalee Social in June 2002. She did not live to present her final creation. Annalee passed away on April 7th, 2002, two months before the presentation. Dome not included. Dome is item 962087. Brass plaque is numbered and signed by Annalee. This has the original base. It has a split across the top and two on each side of the wooden base. Annalee company had troubles with the bases spiltting so they replaced them for the customers that mailed them back. Otherwise doll is mint.
